... from the Hebrew Elisheva, 'my God is an oath' - a solemn promise of a meaning that travelled through Greek and into English as Elizabeth, then pared itself down, generation by generation, to its warmest single syllable. The full story of Beth - its meaning, history, and place in Ireland - is set down in the print.
This print Created in the Celtic uncial script tradition, with original Celtic knotwork ornament designed by Maggi Geraghty. Each print tells the meaning, history and mythology of the name - researched and lettered in the west of Ireland.
