Clare - Irish Name - Fine Art Print

... from the Latin clarus - bright, clear, shining - a name that has meant light for two thousand years. Its saint made it beloved: Clare of Assisi, who in the thirteenth century gave up wealth and founded the order the world knows as the Poor Clares,... The full story of Clare - its meaning, history, and place in Ireland - is set down in the print.
