Made to Order - Celtic First Name Print | Hand-Inked Original

This is not a print - it is an original work of art.

Your child's name and story are hand-inked by a skilled calligrapher onto genuine goatskin parchment - the very material used by the great scribes of medieval Celtic tradition, many samples of which survive to this day. Celtic Uncial and Traditional Copperplate lettering. Ancient knotwork. A story written to last generations.

Every piece is entirely unique, entirely original, and entirely irreplaceable. The name's ancient roots, its lyrical meaning, the landscape of home, beloved siblings, and the echoes of history - woven together in Sumi Ink on parchment, in the tradition of the Book of Kells.

A true heirloom. The kind of gift that gets displayed, inherited, and treasured across generations.

How It Works

1. Enter your child's name at checkout
2. After purchase you'll receive a short email asking for a few personal details - siblings, where they're from, anyone special to mention
3. I'll research the name and craft a custom lyrical description in the Celtic tradition
4. A digital draft preview is sent to you for approval - no work begins on your parchment until you're happy with the draft
5. Once approved, your piece is hand-inked on genuine goatskin parchment. Please be aware that there may be delays of up to a month in parchment deliveries from time to time.

6. Your goatskin parchment will be stretched for working on, and mounted with a white timber surround. This is how the final product will be shipped to you. It will be very securely packaged and sent by courier with tracking and insurance.
